The first thing most candidates lose marks on in this test is not comprehension. It is spelling. Two of the ten answers in Part 1 are proper nouns that the speaker spells out letter by letter, and if you write them down phonetically you score zero even though you heard them perfectly.
A full IELTS Listening test with 40 questions across four parts: a telephone enquiry about community centre membership, a talk to volunteers at a nature reserve, a discussion between two students about urban beekeeping, and a lecture on lighthouses.
